    Community Justice NOS Review

Community Justice NOS - Further Consultation

During 2009 Skills for Justice has been reviewing and updating the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Community Justice (CJ), together with associated National/Scottish Vocational Qualifications (N/SVQs) for 'Working with Offending Behaviour' (WWOB).

Skills for Justice has been working with expert practitioners within the Sector to review and develop draft Standards which have already been issued once for consultation. As a result of the feedback, significant amendments have been made to a number of the units of NOS within the WWOB qualifications. These and the further NOS within the WWOB suite are therefore being offered for consultation again.

This guidance will provide you with information regarding the following:

  • An overview of National Occupational Standards,
  • How the National Occupational Standards were developed,
  • The Standards which have been amended significantly as a result of the earlier feedback,
  • How you can contribute to the consultation process,

    Providing your comments

Please click on the links below to view the proposed NOS. The different principal areas of activity are explained further within the Consultation Guidance.
