Addressing the Children and Young People's Workforce NOS Gaps in the Justice Sector
Introduction and background
During 2007/08 the Children's Workforce mapping project identified a number of gaps in the Justice National Occupational Standards (NOS) Functional Map in a variety of functions and occupations within in the Justice sector required when working with Children and Young People(CYP). The purpose of this project is to develop a set of NOS based on the gaps identified in the above project.
The consultation for these NOS has now closed Feedback is currently being collated and the standards will be submitted for approval at the end of December 2009.
