This questionnaire should be completed after reading the Consultation Guidance and reviewing one or both of the units:

QCF Level 3 Understanding the Core Knowledge

QCF units : Working with children and young people within the wider workforce

The draft QCF units have been informed by the refresh of the Common Core and are intended to cover the knowledge and understanding requirements of those working with children and young people for only part of their role. Examples of such roles can include, for example, a police officer, a school caretaker, or a ‘part-time’ volunteer sports coach. These are for illustration only as the range of roles is extensive.

Two units are proposed with these being a:

Level 2 version, addressing that required of everyone
Level 3 version, for those requiring greater detailed knowledge and understanding
