The ICF Review 2009/10
The National Police Improvement Agency in partnership with Skills for Justice has been tasked to undertake a fundamental review of the Integrated Competency Framework (ICF) to ensure that it can continue to support Police Forces across the UK.
This review will be completed in two phases.
Phase 1 - Completed June 2009
Phase 1 of the review streamlined the ICF so that all Role Profiles contained only the essential activities. This has the oportunity to impact on PDR by reducing quantity/time to evidence activities.
The Streamlined Version of the ICF was made available to Forces in July 2009 and can be accessed here.|
Phase 2 - July 2009 - December 2010
The project structure and useful information can be found here|
The ICF Steering Group took place on Friday 8th January 2010. Due to the weather, UNISON and the Home Office were unable to attend the meeting and we are waiting for their feedback on the proposals before the Steering Group's decision is communicated.
