Apprenticeship Certificates England (ACE) is coming January 2012
As from 30 January 2012, a new online certification service will be run by the Alliance called Apprenticeship Certificates England (ACE). This will be an interactive online system where training providers will request apprenticeship certificates. The ACE system will be mandatory for all applications from 1 April 2012.

Certificates will still be processed by Skills for Justice. The main change will be how providers request apprenticeship certificates. Training providers will upload all evidence to the new system. We will be able to view each training providers applications and check the evidence online.

Evidence Requirements
You should provide a copy of each of the final qualification certificates shown in the Apprenticeship framework. We do, however, accept the following pieces of evidence for the Knowledge, Competence and Transferable Skills element of a framework:

• Final statement of Results from School/College
• Print outs from Awarding Organisations (the logo must be visible)
• City & Guilds Walled Garden
• OCR - Interchange
• CACHE - CACHE zone
• NCFE - Portal
• Edexcel - Edexcel online
• EDI – Campus
